Nutrition Services at Gold's Gym Newburgh
EATING PROPERLY AND NOURISHING YOUR BODY is the biggest factor in achieving your health and fitness goals. In fact, 70% of your results come from proper eating while 30% come from your workouts. You have to EAT HEALTHY with the right amount of food and right balance of nutrients to see and feel the changes you want in your body's weight, composition (fat vs. muscle), and overall health.
For this reason, Gold's Gym Newburgh is happy to provide you with private nutrition coaching, meal planning, and education. You will meet with Tammy Murphy, whose credentials include:
1. National Academy of Sports Medicine, Personal Training Certified
2. National Academy of Sports Medicine, Nutrition Certified
3. Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) Practitioner
4. Precision Nutrition Coach
Your goals in meeting with Tammy are personal to you. It is her role to help you forge a plan around food and nutrition that is suited to your personal needs and the changes you'd like to see in your body and overall health.
The one time fee for a one-hour private session is $39. During this time, you will meet with Tammy to receive suggestions and an easy to follow written food plan with portion control and macronutrient balance based on your specific needs and personal goals. You'll be guided in creating a daily meal plan using foods that you prefer and enjoy, albeit in their proper quantities. She will take into consideration your current weight, your daily lifestyle, and the changes you'd like to make. If there are chronic health or weight issues, she may be able to assist you with further suggestions and recommendations.
If you wish to continue with further nutrition coaching and accountability after speaking with Tammy, you may choose to do so. However, this is up to you to decide depending on your individual needs.
Upon submitting your form below and receiving your online payment, Tammy will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule your appointment in her office at the gym. In the meantime if you have any further questions, you may contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Not so good. I exercise once a week or less.
Average. I exercise a couple times a week on average.
Very fit. I exercise at least 5 times a week and make fitness a big priority in my life.

How would you best describe your current eating habits?
Pretty bad. I'm not sure what to do, eat "on the go" quite often, and snack quite a bit.
Average. I eat 2 to 3x per day and snack here and there.
I eat clean and healthy 4 to 5 times a day, love my veggies, and buy organic food as much as possible.
Please write down EVERYTHING you ate and drank for the last two days (break down each day). Be completely open and honest so that we can get an understanding of how you normally feed your body. This will be an important part of your nutrition planning process moving forward. Paint the current picture for us as best you can! Be sure to include any challenges you face when it comes to cooking and/or eating right throughout the day.

Please write down any vitamins or supplements (e.g. protein shakes, meal replacement shakes, etc.) you take regularly. Include the brand(s) if you know it. If none, state "none".
Describe your normal weekly workout/exercise regimen. Be sure to include any classes or training programs you currently do at Gold's Gym (e.g. Les Mills classes, yoga, Alloy) AND other recreational activities (e.g. golf, biking, etc.)
What would make you happy in terms of achieving your fitness goals? Be as specific as possible. E.g. "I want to lose 15 pounds and have six-pack abs" or, "I'd be happy just losing 10+ pounds in the next month and stop feeling so tired." Share what changes you'd like to see in your body, your fitness level, your energy, the way you feel, and/or your overall health.
What kind of work do you do for a living? This question is asked to determine if you're sedentary, moderately active, or highly active in terms of your daily lifestyle. For example, do you sit at a desk all day OR rather, perform manual labor? Your answer will be used in your nutrition planning process.
